Poland has begun to become a favourite destination for Europeans, and Krakow holds the scepters of most visits. It is now considered one of the most youthful and popular destinations within Europe and not for nothing as it combines everything! Wonderful architecture, huge history but also amazing amenities in accommodation, restaurants and nightlife.

Nothing transcends waking up and looking at the dreadful buildings of the old city and seeing its vibrant colors. Get lost in the alleys, observe the buildings, drink your coffee in the main square of Rynek Glowny, one of the largest in Europe, and visit its main market, Sukiennice. It is a medieval textile market that was rebuilt in 1955 and today hosts tourist shops on the ground floor.

Take a closer look at the Church of Saint Mary, one of the most important cathedrals in all of Poland. There he was long vicar, before he became the well-known Pope, John Paul II.

Climb the Castle of Babel : Up the hill is the imposing castle of Babel, preserved since Krakow flourished as the capital of the state. Entering, you will walk paved streets, see walls and the famous cathedral of Babel, in which kings, presidents and well-known writers have been buried.

Take a walk in the colorful Kazimierz neighborhood. Former Jewish quarter, UNESCO monument and current center of hipster shops, great restaurants and permanently in turmoil, is the ideal neighborhood to move if you want to eat well, have fun and go back in time! Many scenes from the well-known movie “Schindler’s List” have been shot in this neighborhood, where you can still see the signs of old shops, abandoned houses, even bullet marks on the walls.

Make the necessary excursions to Auschwitz and Vielitska Salt Mine. Your trip to Krakow must necessarily be combined with these two “excursions”. A day trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, the largest Nazi concentration camp in Europe, is a necessary, not at all cheerful but shocking experience of a lifetime.
